Through a multifaceted approach, Southern Idaho Pride curates an inclusive environment and offers a variety of services and initiatives aimed at fostering community building, individual well-being, and safe spaces.

One of our primary focuses is on organizing and hosting events that celebrate LGBTQIA+ culture, identity, and achievements. These events serve as vital platforms for community members to come together, express themselves authentically, and build supportive networks. From pride parades and festivals to cultural showcases and social gatherings, our events offer spaces where everyone can feel welcomed and embraced.

In addition to our celebratory events, we prioritize educational seminars and workshops aimed at promoting understanding, awareness, and advocacy for LGBTQIA+ issues. By providing accessible and informative programming, we empower individuals and organizations to become allies and champions for equality and acceptance.

Southern Idaho Pride is committed to addressing the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQIA+ community in Southern Idaho. We collaborate with local healthcare providers and organizations to ensure that LGBTQIA+ individuals have access to affirming and inclusive healthcare services. Through partnerships and outreach efforts, we strive to eliminate barriers to care and safety to promote the well-being of our community members.

Our organization also plays a critical role in crisis intervention and support for those facing discrimination, harassment, or other challenges related to their sexual orientation or gender identity. We offer resources, referrals, and advocacy services to help individuals navigate difficult situations and access the assistance they need.

In addition to our core initiatives, Southern Idaho Pride is deeply committed to advancing LGBTQIA+ rights and social justice in Idaho. We actively engage in advocacy efforts to promote legislative change, challenge discrimination, and combat stigma faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in our community through coalition building and participating in public awareness campaigns.

By centering the intersectionality of identities within the LGBTQIA+ community, recognizing and addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals who are marginalized due to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability, and other factors, we strive to uplift and amplify the voices of those who have been historically marginalized and advocate for systemic change that benefits everyone.
